“(Masks are) being purchased from all forms of life,” Morelia Cuevas said via email, “musicians, front line (workers), fans … and even a guy from the armed forces the other day.”

And of course, this year isn’t Manuel Cuevas’ first in exploring mask fashion. Along with dressing the likes of James Dean, Dolly Parton and Jack White, he once designed the famed mask worn by 1950s “Lone Ranger” actor Clayton Moore.
